Good afternoon, We’ve received a number of reports from residents of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight stating they’ve been defrauded after answering the phone to someone purporting to be Amazon. Amazon say: It’s ok to hang up. If you received correspondence regarding an order you didn't place, it likely wasn't from Amazon. Visit Your Orders to review your order history. If you receive a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, be alert if they: Remember: legitimate Amazon representatives will never ask for OTP codes over the phone. If you receive such a call, hang up and contact Amazon directly through the official website or app. Important: We will never ask for your bank card details or any other confidential information.
